Giving Instructions
2023 Giving Through Vanco
Vanco, the 3rd party software through which online giving is managed, has upgraded its system making input screens more modern. All security measures were taken during the transition. For those who are familiar with online purchasing, the store “buy” bottom is called the “donate” on our giving page and the store “cart” is called the “basket”. All givers’ profiles were migrated from the old system to the upgraded system. The secure upgrade means that user names and passwords, along with history records, remain the same. You may login as before and you should find your giving records, payment methods, and more exactly as you left them.
Helpful Hints
- Access through this website, vabcworship.org.
- Click on Login in the upper right side of screen.
- Scroll up or down the screen to select the fund to which you wish to donate.
- Click the Donate button.
- Fill in the requested information including Add to Basket.
- If another donation is to be made, click “See All” found on the left top of the screen and repeat this step.
- Otherwise, click on ‘Continue to Payment.’
- Select payment type (credit or checking) and fill in required information.
- Click on ‘Continue to Review.’
If all is well, click on ‘Submit.’ - Otherwise, select one of the other options.
- Click on ‘Profile’ in the top right of screen to see other information options including ‘Log Out.’
Give With Our App
One of our technological advantages is that we have a giving app!
- For Androids, Play Store, or for iPhones, the App Store
- Search for ‘Vanco Mobile App’ and install.
- If first time on the app, search for ‘Vermont Avenue Baptist Church’ and Login.
- The log-in option will immediately appear.
- Once logged in, select ‘Give.’
- Touch the down arrow and select the desired giving option.
- Enter the dollar amount, select frequency, payment option, check the NACHA rules, and select ‘Give.’
- Select Submit. Then select ‘Return to app’
- There is no basket on the phone app; but, there is an option to ‘Make another gift.’
- If finished, touch the “X” at the left top of the screen.
- Select the menu option in the top left corner of screen.
- Among the various menu options is ‘Sign out.’
