Join us to welcome guest speaker, Rev. Ernest A. Brooks, III to our 10:45 worship. An ordained minister and passionate advocate for dynamic moral, ethical, and spiritual leadership, Rev. Brooks previously served as President and CEO of Academy of Preachers, Inc., a national, ecumenical vocational discernment initiative for young people exploring pathways and refining their gifts for ministry. Additionally, Rev. Brooks has served as Special Assistant to the CEO of The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Higher Education Fellow for Graduate Diversity Initiatives at the University of Chicago, and Assistant Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College. He is currently a partner at Isaacson, Miller, one of the nation’s leading retained executive search firms, where he serves as co-lead of the firm’s social justice and advocacy practice area.

Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that affects an individual’s memory. The sooner a person is diagnosed, the sooner they can begin a treatment plan. During our year of service, we challenge you to serve your family, friends and community by learning more about dementia. Click link below to complete a short training that will help you serve by learning how to recognize the signs and simple actions you can take to identify Alzheimer’s Disease.

Studying The Bible with Rev. Dr. John J. Cox is a dynamic, engaging way to get grounded in practical Christian principles. We gather virtually every Wednesday at 1:00 and 6:30 PM. Young Adult Bible Study meets Thursdays at 6:00 PM. We invite you to come grow with us. Zoom credentials are below. The password for all studies is ‘growing.’
